Biker killed in Rajshahi road accident

RAJSHAHI, Apr 29 (UNB): A man was killed as a bus hit his bicycle in Bospara area of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Sultan Ali, 43, a resident of Sagorpara area of the city.

Officer-in-charge of Boalia Model Police Station Alamgir Hossain said a students' bus of Rajshahi University (RU) on its way to court area hit the bicycle of Sultan around 2:45 pm, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

They also seized the bus and arrested its driver Nurul Islam.
