Birth Registration Day observed in Magura

MAGURA, 3 July: National Birth Registration Day -2014 was observed in Magura Thursday.

Magura municipality undertook different programmes to observe the day including a grand rally in the morning. It also arranged a discussion meeting at municipality office premises.

Magura police super Zihadul Kabir, Mayor Ikbal Akhter Khan Kafur and civil surgeon Shunil Chandra Roy spoke at the meeting. About 200 children took birth registration from the centre set up in front of the municipality office in observance of day.
