Bodies of two missing children recovered from Shitalakshya River

NARAYANGANJ, Aug 28 (UNB): The bodies of two minor children, who went missing on Sunday morning, were recovered from the Shitalakshya River on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Billal, 8, son of Babl Gazi, and Ismail, 8, son of Alauddin Majhi, residents of the area.

The two boys left home around 10am on Sunday and went missing.

Fire Service and Civil Defence personnel recovered the floating bodies from Mymenshinghpotti ferry ghat adjacent to Bandar Kheyaghat this morning, said said Abu Bakar Siddique, OC of Bandar Police Station.
