GAIBANDHA, May 17 (BSS): Police recovered the slaughtered body of a young man from Bhanga Bridge area on Ratherbazaar-Fakirhat Road in the district in the early hours of today.
The victim is identified as Asadul Islam, son of Abdur Razzak of Patoa village under Gobindaganj upazila.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
The reasons behind the murder could not be known immediately, said officer-in-charge of Gobindaganj Thana ABM Jahidul Islam.
