Body of college student found hanging

PABNA, Jan 12: Body of a college student was found hanging at a mess in the district headquarter Sunday night. His body was recovered from the mess at Shalgaria  Monday.

The deceased was identified as Md. Shahin, 22, a 1st year student of Private Textile Engineering College of Pabna and son of Nurul Islam of Pungali village in Faridpur Upazila of the district.

Shahin's roommates found him hanging at around 10pm on Sunday and informed the police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Sub-inspector of Pabna Sadar Police Station Md. Masud said they were investigating whether it was an incident of suicide or murder.
