Body of madrasa student recovered seven days after going missing

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 18 (UNB): Police recovered the body of a madrasa student, a week after he went missing, in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram.

The body was found in Jalkadar canal on the south side of Baharchara Ratnapur High School in Baharchhara union of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Nur Ullah Mapi, 6 of Gunagari area. He was a student of class-1 at Abu Bakar Forkania Madrasa.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banshkhali Police Station, Md Kamal Uddin, confirmed the matter.

There was no injury mark on the body, he said.
