Boiler blast kills one in Natore rice mill

A worker was killed and two others were injured in a boiler explosion at a rice mill at Trimohoni under Naldanga upazila in Natore district on Saturday night. The deceased was identified as Jamrul, 35, son of late Elahi Box of Telcupi village in Sadar upazila. Witnesses said the boiler blasted with a big bang at Ibrahim Hossain rice mill in the area at 10:30pm, leaving Jamrul, a worker of the mill, dead on the spot and two others injured. The injured workers were admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital. Officer-in-charge of Naldanga Police Station Wajed Ali Khan confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
