TANGAIL, Mar 23: Department of Agriculture Extension sources said DAE Tangail set a target to bring a total 170082 hectares of land under Boro cultivation this year with the production target of 658811 tonnes of paddy.
The cultivation target fixed by DAE Tangail has been exceeded due to climatic condition and need-base facilities including irrigation, fertiliser and pesticides to the farmers.
