Boy drowns in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Jan 01 (BSS): A three-year-old boy drowned at Mochainagar village in Alomdanga upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Rohan Ahmed, son of Masud Rana, hailing from Baro Gangni village of the upazila. He went to Mochainagar a week ago where his maternal grandparents live.
Local people said the Rohan drowned in a pond in a betel-leaf field at Mochainagar village.
He was admitted to the Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
