SYLHET, Feb 14 (UNB): Two boys died in the Surma river after falling from Keane bridge here on Wednesday night.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Gausul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station.
The boys might be taking rest on the railing of the bridge, he added.
Locals rescued them and took to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead, police said.
The victims' age might be in between 12 to 14 years, said Sub-inspector Farooq Ahmad of hospital police outpost.
