Bridge construction in Panchagarh progressing fast

PANCHAGARH, Feb 6 (BSS): Construction work of 70 metre long and 20 metre wide Gantur Ghat bridge over Tista River at Soundordighi union under Debiganj upazila of the district is progressing fast.

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)is implementing the construction work at a cost of Taka 0.28 million.

Debiganj upazila engineer Md, Nazrul Islam said 80 percent work of the bridge has already been completed and rest would be done within 30 days.

After completion of the work, the bridge would link the road communication between Sundordighi and Changti union of the upazila.
