The number of buyers is increasing at the shops of shoes, sarees, punjabi, shalwar and kameez, Indian goods, such as sarees, footwear, three-pieces and cosmetics, are being sold at many shops. Small traders of rural markets have set up makeshift shops.
People from all walks of life are seen crowding different markets, shopping malls, business centres and makeshift stores to collect their items of choice.
The tailors are now passing very busy time and many of them have stopped taking orders. Some 35 tailors are working his tailoring shop in day and night.

As weather has come back to normalcy after rainfall for a couple of days, thousands of people are purchasing items of their own choice with huge enthusiasm despite significant rise in prices of all kinds of clothes than the last year's.
Movement of the shoppers has created huge traffic congestion in the major shopping areas. Shop owners told the news agency that sales were showing an upward trend over the last couple of days.
Salesmen of different markets, footpaths, makeshift sales centres are passing busy time from morning to midnight as shoppers of all ages gathered there, they added.
Market sources said the overall sale was much higher this year because of further improvement in the economic condition of people from all classes.
Deployment of law enforcers at different points and market places and engagement of private security men at shopping malls by the authorities concerned have created a fool-proof security arrangement for businessmen as well as shoppers.
