Brother kills elder in Kushtia

KUSHTIA, Jun 2 (UNB): A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his younger brother at Laxmidhordia village in Kushtia upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam Labpu alias Rajib, 26, son of Abdul Jalil of the village.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Police Station, said that Jahidul Islam Pappu, 22 locked into an altercation with his brother Shahidul in the morning over a mobile phone set.
At one stage, Jahidul stabbed Shahidul, leaving him dead on the spot. Police arrested Jahidul.
