BSD leader killed in Bogra road accident

BOGRA, Oct 21 (UNB): A local leader of Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal was crushed under the wheels of a truck on Bogra-Rangpur Highway at Palsa in sadar Upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Krishna Kamol, 35, coordinator of district unit convention of BSD and son of Ananta Barman in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur district.

Police and witnesses said the accident took place around 8am as a moving truck hit Kamol while crossing the highway, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Hospital morgue for autopsy.
