Call for preventing corruption thru\\\' social movement

RANGPUR, Apr 2 (BSS): Speakers at a view-sharing meeting Tuesday asked all concerned for playing their due roles from respective positions for launching a vigorous social movement against corruption to accelerate national development.
They put special emphasis on educating the young generations including students about the values of honesty to inspire them in becoming patriotic citizens and having positive impacts on their behavior against corruption.
District Corruption Prevention Committee (DCPC) with the assistances of the District Combined Office of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) arranged the meeting on 'Our Role in Preventing Corruption' at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.
RDRS Bangladesh extended cooperation in arranging the meeting under its Justice Reform & Corruption Prevention (JRCP) Project in observance of the Corruption Prevention Week-2014 with the theme 'Unitedly We Will Build Corruption-free Bangladesh.'
Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Dilwar Bakht addressed the meeting as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner Farid Ahammad in the chair.
Deputy Director of Rangpur Combined Office of the ACC Kamrul Ahsan delivered the welcome speech in the meeting, which was moderated by General Secretary of Rangpur DCPC and valiant freedom fighter Akbar Hossain.
Deputy Director (Local Government) Ershadul Haque, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Revenue) Mostain Billah and ADC (Education & ICT) Tonima Tasnim attended the meeting as the special guests.
