Call to create awareness about reproductive health

GAIBANDHA, Apr 27 (BSS): Speakers at a function here yesterday stressed the need for creating much awareness to the adolescents and the capable couples about reproductive health to build a healthy nation.

"To learn about reproductive health, physical change at the age juncture, sexually transmitted diseases, premature pregnancy and complicacy during pregnancy, safe delivery and motherhood is very essential for all the adolescents and the women", they said.

They made the comments while addressing an awareness meeting on reproductive health at Analerchhara village under Kholahati union of Sadar upazila in the district on Saturday.

SKS Foundation, a local reputed non government organisation, arranged the function under the project of domestic violence prevention funded by Manusher Jonno Foundation.
