Campaign launched to resist early marriage in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Sept 1 (BSS): Three local organizations launched a month-long campaign on Saturday to resist early marriage in Chuadanga.

Chuadanga Pourashava Mayor Reazul Islam Joardar inaugurated the campaign through a function held at the office premises of local NGO Steps with local social and cultural leader Waliur Rahman in the chair.

Chuadanga Sadar upazila woman vice-chairman Kohinoor Begum, local NGO activist Billal Hossain, Chuadanga district Mohila Sangsad president Nurunnahar Kakoli and local scout leader Shahnawaz Faruk spoke.
