Campaign of Vitamin \\\'A\\\' capsule held

NILPHAMARI, Apr 25: As a part of national campaign nearly 0.3 million children have been fed vitamin A capsule today, the 25th April, across Nilphamari district to protect them from night blindness and strengthen their immune system.

Civil Surgeon Nilphamari office sources said children of the 6-11 month age group has been fed vitamin A capsule each while children of 12-59 month age group has been fed red colored vitamin A capsule each. Sources said nearly 15000 volunteers in cooperation with government and non-government organisations took part in the campaign to successfully feed children vitamin capsule in 60 UPs of six upazilas of the district.
