FARIDPUR, June 3 (BSS): Chief Justice of Bangladesh Mr. Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha called upon the judicial officers to ensure fair justice to the people under any circumstances because, he said, "We are paid by the taxes of the people."
Addressing the judicial officers of Faridpur District Judgeship last night here at local circuit house Justice Sinha emphasised on the punctuality of the judicial officials and if necessary they are to give extra labour to ensure and deliver proper justice to the people, who mostly suffer from delayed justice.
Chaired by Faridpur district and session judge Md. Zahidul Islam, Justice Sinha said that the medical reports being a very technical and important document in criminal cases for dispensing proper justice should be correct and unbiased.
He called upon the concerned medical reporting authorities to be very careful and objective otherwise justice is likely to be hampered.
In this connection he told that if the medical report is not unambiguous and clear then the police and judiciary officers who are mostly non-technical often fail to understand and in those cases fair justice cannot be ensured.
The chief Justice stressed on the need for separate and independent accommodation rather than living in rented houses to avoid influences of the neighbouring areas.
He also emphasised on gearing up conducting mobile courts before the holy month of Ramadan to stop unadulterated food for the fasting people.
