Coast Guard recovers deer hide, scull from Sundarbans

KHULNA, Feb 03 (BSS): A special team of Coast Guard, West Zone, in two separate drives recovered deer hide, scull, 500 kgs of crab fries and over 50,000 fries of tiger shrimp from Kalabogy canal area under Dakop upazila and Zorsing area under Koyra upazila in Sundarbans in the early hours of Saturday.

Operation officer of Coast Guard, West Zone, Lt Abdullah Al Mahmud said, being informed, a team of the Coast Guard conducted the drive in Kalabogy canal area and seized the hide and sculls in an abundant condition.

In Koyra upazila, the team recovered tiger shrimp fries and crab fries in Zorsing area.

All recovered goods handed over to the Hadda Forest Station, he added.
