College student stabbed to death by classmates

JESSORE, Jan 19: Classmates allegedly stabbed to death Shariful Islam, 20, a student of first year of department of commerce, and son of Shafiuddin of New Town Sunday morning. He was a student of Jessore Education Board Model School and College and a resident of F block under New Town, Kotwali police station.

Obaidur Rahman, a classmate of the deceased told journalists that Jewel,

Arif and Nazmul, all classmates of the victim, stabbed Shariful following a feud over a mobile phone at around 11am. He was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared him dead.
