Construction of 100-bed hospital starts in Syedpur

NILPHAMARI, May 18: Syedpur upazila hospital at Nilphamari is being upgraded to 100 beds from its existing 50.

The construction work of the extended capacity of the hospital has already started. Tara Construction, a construction firm has been given the work order. To be built on 3 acres of land at the southern end of the municipality, the cost of the project is Tk. 190 million.

While contacted RMO of the hospital Sirajul Islam said the infrastructures of the hospital would include administrative building, residential building of the doctors and dormitory for the employees.
