Couple chopped to death in Narayanganj

NARAYANGANJ, May 5 (UNB): A couple was chopped to death by miscreants in Fatullah area of Sadar upazila early Monday.

The deceased were identified as Aman Ullah, 55, and his second wife Hosne Ara, 30, residents of Bholail under Fatullah Police Station.

Police and locals said miscreants chopped them to death on Sunday midnight.

The murder came to light to local people in the morning and later, it was informed to police.

Police recovered the bodies for post-mortem.

Police also detained two people from the house for interrogation.

Police suspected that the murder occurred over family feud and land dispute.
