Cultivation of tea begins in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Mar 28: Being encouraged by the success of tea plantation in two neighbouring districts of Panchagarh and Lalmonirhut, one local business body named Onubhob Foundation planted tea saplings in Dhopadanga village of Gorgram UP of Sadar upazilla in Nilphamari district.

They already planted 22,000 tea saplings over three acres of land.

Chairman of Onubhob Foundation Ahasan Habib said, "we will extend the plantation area up to 25 acres of land very soon."
