The sixth death anniversary of Shafiuddin Ahmed, a leading organiser of liberation war, politician and social worker of Shibpur upazilla of Narsingdi district was observed on Friday, according to a statement.
A milad mahfil was held at his village Khaishakhali under Shibpur upazilla of Narsingdi district.
Relatives, friends and well-wishers of the deceased prayed for the salvation of the departed soul, the press release added.
