Development work of Talukjamirahat begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Sept 23 (BSS): Development work of Talukjamirahat, a local bazaar, under Palashbari upazila in the district has begun on Monday amid much enthusiasm to the locals.

Dr. Younus Ali Sarker, local lawmaker, formally inaugurated the work involving Taka 4.4 million under Rural Infrastructural Development project of LGED by unveiling a plaque yesterday as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Younus Ali Sarker said the present government led by Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina had given much priority for the infrastructural development in the rural areas to ensure facilities to the people.

He also urged the locals to help the government and strengthen the hands of PM Sheikh Hasina to build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The lawmaker also called upon all to work together from their respective positions to turn the country into a middle income one by 2021 through implementing the mission and vision declared by PM Sheikh Hasina.
