Digital fair begins in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, May 4 (BSS): A three-day long Digital innovative fair began on the compound of Deputy Commissioner's office in the town Saturday.

State Minister for Jute and Textile Mirza Azam, MP, inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. The State Minister said with the digitization people across the country are now getting various services.

He said due to inefficiency of the past government our country had not come under submarine cable network, which was offered free of cost. But subsequently we had to install it at a huge amount of money for the welfare of the country.

Our country would have moved forward if we had come to the network in time, he added. The inaugural function chaired by Deputy Commissioner M Shahbuddin Khan.  

A total of 32 stalls were set up at the fair which will end on May 5.
