SIRAJGANJ, Oct 19 (UNB): Police recovered strangulated body of a disabled boy in sadar upazila on Saturday morning two days after his going missing.
The deceased was identified as Sohan, 9, son of Aynal Haque, a resident of Khamargati village.
Local sources said Sohan had gone missing on Thursday.
After a frantic search, neighbours saw his body floating in a ditch near Khamargati Modhyapara School with a scarf around the neck on Friday midnight.
Police recovered the body on Saturday morning and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police arrested one Shahar Uddin, 49, son of late Abdul Kader, from the same village in connection with the incident.
