DMCCI distributes 300 blankets in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 3 (BSS): Dhaka Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DMCCI) in cooperation with Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) distributed 300 blankets among the cold-hit distressed people here today.
The DMCCI distributed the blankets, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to mitigate sufferings of the cold-stricken people, at a ceremony arranged at RCCI Public School & College ground in the city.
President of RCCI Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu, its Senior Vice-president Mostoba Hossain Ripan and Directors distributed the blankets on behalf of DMCCI among 300 cold-stricken people, including women and children, of the city.
Director of RCCI & Convener of its Relief and Award Giving Management Sub-committee Rabi Somani presided over the blanket distribution ceremony.
RCCI Directors Shah Mohammad Selim, Mostafa Ahmed, Mamunur Rashid Mamun, Mozammel Haque Dambel, Fazlul; Haque, its former Directors Partho Bose and Kazi Md Adam and Sub-committee member Dipendra Nath Sharma were present.
While addressing the blanket distribution ceremony, the RCCI President called upon the business, charity and voluntary originations and affluent people of the society to stand beside the cold-hit people for mitigating their sufferings.
