Driver hacked to death in Jessore

JESSORE, Mar 1 (BSS): An elderly easy-bike driver was hacked to death in Jagohati-Ruhulpara area in Sadar upazila of Jessore district last night. The deceased was identified as Khairul Islam, 60, son of Omar Ali of Dakkhin Kaierpara village in Chaugacha upazila.

Police said a gang of unidentified miscreants killed the driver in the area at around 8:00pm.

On information, police retrieved the body from the spot and sent it to Jessore General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.

A case was filed with Jessore Kotwali Model thana in this connection.
