Drug addict killed by younger brothers

MADARIPUR, May 19 (BSS): A man was killed by his younger brothers over a trifle matter at Launch Ghat area in the district town last night.

The deceased was Jabbir Hossain Moin, 32, son of Advocate Jahangir of the same area.

Police said drug addicted Moin locked into an altercation with his family members and tried to attack them with sharp weapon.

At one stage of their quarrel Monir and Mithu younger brothers of Moin hit him, leaving him critically injured.

Moin died on the way to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Madaripur Sadar Thana Sahajahan Miah confirmed the incident.
