Eid-shopping gains momentum in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, July 10 (BSS): With only 19 days left for the holy Eid-ul- Fitr, the greatest Muslim religious festival, Eid shopping has started gaining momentum in Netrakona amid huge supply of consumer goods and a buying spree among the people.

All the city markets are seen busy selling their commodities to shoppers. The throng of customers at the shopping centres starts in the morning and continues till midnight.

Shopping centres and super markets in the district town have been flooded with different ready-made garments and colorful dresses with latest designs including salwar-kameez, three pieces, pants, shirts, panjabis and sarees, to draw the attention of the customers.
