GAIBANDHA, June 3 (UNB): An elderly man allegedly committed suicide by jumping under the wheels of a speeding train on the Gaibandha-Lalmonirhat rail route at Panchjumma village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Dhulu Miah (75), a resident of Panchjumma village.
Sources at the Railway Police said Dhulu took his own life by jumping under the wheels of Shantahar-bound Padmarag Train from Lalmonirhat following a family feud around 9.00am.
