Embroidery training course starts in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Apr 9: A 21-day embroidery training course organised by Sadar office, Youth Development Department, Jhenidah, started recently at Chuadanga village under Porahati union of the upazila in the district.
UNO, Sadar Julker Nayen inaugurated the training programme as the chief guest on Muktijoddha Moshiur Rahman Secondary School premises at the village with participation of 40 young women.
President of the school managing committee Md. Aslam Hossain, Headmaster Md. Alamgir Hossain, executive directors of three volunteer youth organisations and Selina Afroj, trained in dress making and a government representative, among other, were present on the occasion.
During the 21-day training period, working sessions will be conducted in 15 days while inauguration, field visiting, evaluation of activities and closing session have been scheduled for the remaining six days.
