GAIBANDHA, Mar 10 (BSS): Speakers at a function on Sunday stressed the need for ensuring the access to all sorts of government services for the ultra poor here to change their socio-economic condition gradually.
Due to lack of awareness, many of the extremes poor can't enjoy the existing facilities of the state. In this context, the field level service providers should play role in reaching their respective service to the doorsteps of the underprivileged people of the remote areas, they said.
They made the comments while addressing a view exchange meeting on access to government services for the extreme poor organized by SKS Foundation at the auditorium of Fhulchhari upazila parishad under Resilience through Economic Empowerment Climate Adaptation Leadership and Learning project funded by Oxfam-GB.
