Essential items distributed among ultra-poor women

PABNA, July 15: Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industry here distributed essential items for Eid among the poor and distressed women on Wednesday.

President of Pabna Chamber Alhaj Abdul Latif Biswas chaired the distribution ceremony while Administrator of Pabna Zila Parishad M Saidul Haque Chunnu was present as the chief guest. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kazi Asraf Uddin and Police Super (SP) Alamgir Kabir attended the programme as special guests.

Among others, Senior Vice-President of Pabna Chamber Mahbubul Alam Mukul, Secretary of Pabna Press Club Ahmedul Haque Rana, journalist Akhtaruzzaman Akhter and others were also present.

During the event, Pabna Chamber distributed 400 packets of essential items among the ultra-poor.
