Experts for early detection of tuberculosis

RANGPUR, Mar 24 (BSS): Health experts at a post-rally discussion on Saturday laid emphasis on early detection of the tuberculosis (TB) infected patients to bring them under the cost-free
treatment facilities for eradication of the curable disease.
They expressed the opinion in the discussion held at the conference room of the Civil Surgeon Office here in observance of the World Tuberculosis Day-March 24, 2018 with the theme of `Wanted: Leaders for a TB-Free World, You Can Make History. End TB.'
The Divisional Director (Health) Office and Civil Surgeon Office jointly with National Anti-Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB) and other organisations organised the discussion.
With Civil Surgeon Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam in the chair, Assistant Divisional Director (Health) Dr Mahbub Hassan addressed the discussion as the chief guest.
