PANCHAGARH, Feb 9 (BSS): The road stretching from Panchagarh Moshjid para to the local college named after the martyr of the language movement Abdul Kader was inaugurated yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.
Panchagarh Pourashava Mayor Md. Tohidul Islam formally inaugurated the Abdul Kader road by unveiling the plaque.
On the occasion a discussion meeting was held. Pourashava Mayor addressed the meeting as chief guest. Former upazila chairman Asraful Alam and Union Parishad Chairman Somi Ali, councilor Safiqul Islam spoke on the occasion. Pourashava councilor Sajedur Rahman presided over the meeting. Local elites were present.
Razia Khatun Wife of Abdul Kader expressed her gratitude to Pourashava Mayor for remembering Abdul Kader.
