Factory worker dies from electrocution in Madhabpur

HABIGANJ, May 07 (BSS): A factory worker was electrocuted in Baghasura area under Madhabpur upazila of the district on Monday noon.

The victim was Firoj Miah, 26, a worker of Talukder Chemical Industries Ltd and son of Jahirul Miah, resident of Kamalpur village under Shaghata upazila in Gaibandha district.

Officer-in-Charge of Madhabpur police station Chandan Kumar said Firoj was seriously injured as he got electric shock at the factory.

He was sent to Zila Sadar Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
