GAIBANDHA, Mar 1 (BSS): Speakers at a function here underscored the need for mitigating the sufferings of the people in the cases of getting fair justice from the concerned.
"Emphasis should be given to perform the justice related activities properly and timely so that the justice seekers do not suffer and lose their valuable time without reason", they said.
They made the comments while addressing a police-magistracy conference at the hall room of district judge court here on Saturday with chief judicial magistrate Mohsinul Haque in the chair.
District and Sessions Judge M. Sharif Mostafa Karim addressed the function as the chief guest and deputy commissioner M. Ehsan-e-Elahi and police super Ashraful Islam were present as special guests.
The conference was also addressed among others by senior assistant judge Abu Based M. Bulu Miah, judicial magistrate M. Wahiduzzaman, additional police super M. Mosarrof Hossain, assistant police super Fakruzzaman Jewel, assistant director of RAB-13 Ashraf Hossain Siddique, officer in charge of Sadar thana Ahmed Raziur Rahman, and Advocate AKM Mohidul Haque Sarker.
