NARAIL, Nov 26 (UNB): A farmer was stabbed to death by some unidentified criminals at Purulia village in Kalia upazila of the district early Wednesday.
The deceased was indentified as Makbul Hossain, 60, a resident of Purulia village of the district.
Police and family source said when Makbul Hossain was sleeping at the veranda of his house some unknown miscreants stabbed him indiscriminately and fled scene.
Family member rushed him Narail sadar hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
