Farmer's body recovered from house in Magura

MAGURA, May 21 (UNB): Police recovered the body of a farmer from his house at Borokhari village in Magura's Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Hafizur Lashkar, 63, of the village.

Magura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mehedi Hasan confirmed the matter.

Hafizur's body was found near his house around 4:00 am on Tuesday, he said.

The deceased's son Tamim Lashkar, said that they all went to sleep after 10:00 pm and woke up to find their father's body in a corner of the room after Fazr.

Hearing their screams, the villagers came and informed the police.
