Father beaten to death by son in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Apr 17: A man was beaten to death by his son over non-payment of electricity bill of their grocery store at Betbaria village of Maheshpur upazila in Jhenidah.
The deceased was identified as Bisharat Ali (55), son of late Afzal Hossain of the area.
Police said Asanul (28), son of the victim, beat his father mercilessly as they got locked in an altercation on Tuesday. In a critical condition Bisharat was admitted to hospital where he died Wednesday.
