CHANDPUR, June 14 (BSS): A father was killed allegedly by his son over family feud at Bishnupur village under Sadar upazila last night.
The victim was Siddiqur Rahman (70), of the same area.
Police said mentally abnormal son Fazlul Haque (45), hit his father with a heavy stick at midnight over a family matter, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police recovered the body this morning and sent it to hospital morgue, said officer-in-Charge of Sadar thana AH Enayet Uddin.
Police arrested Fazlul Haque.
