Father killed by son in Natore

NATORE, Jan 10 (UNB): A man was hacked to death allegedly by his son over a family feud at Natun Kalabaria village in Bagatipara upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Guljar Sarkar,55, a resident of the same village.

Motaleb Hossain, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Bagatipara Police Station, said Guljar locked into an altercation with his son Sentu Sarkar over family affairs.

At one stage, Sentu hacked Guljar indiscriminately at about 10:30 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Being informed, police recovered the body on Saturday and sent it to  hospital morgue for an autopsy.
