GOPALGANJ, Jun 19 (UNB): A ferry along with five paddy-laden trucks and two pickup vans capsized in the Madhumati River near Kalna Ferry Ghat in Kashiani upazila early Thursday.
Police said when the ferry along with the vehicles and some passengers started for Kalna Ghat in Narail district from here at about 2:30am and capsized.
On information, officials of the local administration, divers and a rescue team rushed to the spot.
