First academic activities open in Jhenidah Veterinary College

JHENIDAH, Mar 2: Fisheries and Livestock Minister Md. Sayedul Haque said, "According to experts, Bangladesh is a prospective country in South East Asia. So, congenial atmosphere is a prerequisite for continuous progress of the country.'' The minister made this observation as chief guest in the inaugural ceremony of first academic activities of Jhenidah Govt. Veterinary College on Sunday.

Chaired by Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, DG, Livestock department, the inaugural ceremony was attended, among others, by Prof. Dr, AS Mahfuzul Bari, VC, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University, Jhenidah-2 constituency MP Tasbib Alam Siddiqi and Dr, Selima Afroj, Secretary, Fisheries and Livestock Ministry.
