RAJSHAHI, Jan 30 (BSS): A three-day 'One Bank Flower Fair- 2018' will begin in the district from Friday.
The fair aims at meeting the gradually increasing demand of the flower-loving people. Rajshahi Boikali Sangha (RSS) and One Bank Limited will jointly organise the fair at Moni Bazar in the metropolis.
Different nursery owners and amateur flower growers will set up more than 16 stalls that will display a wide range of blossoms. These were disclosed at a pre-fair press conference on Monday.
One Bank Branch Manager Abdul Mannan, RSS President Md Moniruzzaman and its General Secretary Roisuddin Ahmed Babu and Fair Convener Shariful Abedeen spoke on the occasion giving an overview of the fair and its aspects.
Side by side with the flower fair, competition of fine arts, literary and cultural activities will be arranged for the children for flourishing their latent talents.
The fair will remain open from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm everyday, they said adding that the event will help creating a sound marketing opportunities of flower.
