SATKHIRA, Sept 24 (UNB): Police recovered the body of a young girl from Chakla village in Ashashuni upazila on Tuesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Asma Khatun, 22, daughter of Isak Ali of the village.

Locals said they found the hanging body of Asma in front of a shrimp enclosure owned by one Aslam Gazi in the morning and informed police.

Later, law enforces recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station.
