Gopalganj IHT construction complete

GOPALGANJ, Apr 23: Construction of the Institute of Health Technology (IHT) in Tungipara upazila of the district in Gopalganj has been completed recently.

According to the Health Engineering Department (HED), Gopalganj official sources, in December, 2014 HED Gopalganj selected the site in Battala area of Gimadanga village under Tungipara upazila.

The budget for the project was Tk 299.5 million and tenure was two years.

Md Ishaque Miah, executive engineer of Gopalganj HED, said, "We are happy that the project completed within the scheduled time."

Messrs Dhaka Mercantile Corporation Limited took the responsibility for the construction work under the supervision of IHT, Gopalganj, he added.
